If Texas Hold’em isn’t your game, no worries. The WCOOP is comprised of 33 events that include Hold’em, Omaha, Stud, Razz, HORSE, 2-7 Draw and more. Every event in the WCOOP has a cash guarantee, with many of the guarantees being over $2,000,000.
Most of the WCOOP events have direct buy-in’s ranging from $215 - $1,050. The Main Event has a direct buy-in of $5,200. There are also $10,300 HORSE and High Roller NL Hold’em events. The biggest direct buy-in for the WCOOP is the $25,500 High Roller Heads-Up NL Hold’em event.
As of right now, Pokerstars has satellites for the WCOOP running every day, with cash buy-in’s starting as low as $2.20 and points satellites starting at 100 points. Using your Frequent Player Points, you can get a shot at the $30,000,000 in prize money without spending a dime!
Pokerstars also has Steps Qualifier’s for Sit N Go players wanting to get into the WCOOP. Players can start at any step level, depending on how much they’re willing to pay for their buy-in. Step 1 buy-in is $7.50, Step 2 buy-in is $27.00, Step 3 buy-in is $82.00, and Step 4 buy-in is $215.00. Pokerstars also offers players the option of using points to buy-in at any of the first four steps. If you want to enter at Step 5, the buy-in will cost you $700.00. Step 6 will cost you $2100.00 for a direct buy-in.
